Holiday Poinsettia Sale
The troop is selling poinsettias to raise funds for the troop’s scouting expenses.
We need your help to ask your friends, family and neighbors to purchase poinsettias for the holidays. They would make great gifts and we have great prices!
A couple of reminders:
1. Do NOT go to homes of people you do not know.
2. Be sure to be friendly and polite. You have a great opportunity to represent Boy Scouting.
It would be nice if you wore your scout class A uniform.
3. You have an order sheet to mark down the orders and a flyer to show what you are selling.
4. You need to collect the money (cash or a check payable to Boy Scout Troop 85) and turn the money in with your order.
5. The order and money must be turned in by Thursday, November 30th, (The Thursday after Thanksgiving.)
6. We can take special orders. If someone asks for other sizes or hanging baskets, call Mrs. Mayer (610-565-4398) or email (kcmayer@verizon.net).
If someone is having a party or needs the poinsettias earlier than December 7th, call us and we will try to make special arrangements.
7. The poinsettias will be delivered Thursday, December 7th. You will be able to pick them up at the Church before or after the scout meeting.
Service opportunity:
We need boys (and parents) to help carry the plants from the truck and sort the orders on Thursday, December 7th at 3:15 PM. If you can help, please let Mrs. Mayer know. We can arrange pick up from school so you can help.
