Cub Scout Pack 3038 is growing organization of 12 Children (between the ages of 5 to 11 years old), 6 Leaders and a diverse variety of parents.
We are a multi-denominational Cub Scout Pack sponsored by the Wasatch Presbyterian Church located at 1628 South & 17th East, in the Sugar House area of Salt Lake, Utah.
Our meetings are held on Tuesday evenings from 6:15 P.M. to 7:45 P.M.
Pack 3038 is part of the Wasatch Peaks District; BSA Crossroads of the West Council, Utah.
The Pack is divided up by age groups
(or school grades) into Dens:
Kindergarten: Lion, (+/- 5-6 yrs old)1st Grade: Tiger (+/- 6 to 7 yrs old)
2nd Grade: Wolf (+/- 7 to 8 yrs old)
3rd Grade: Bear (+/- 8 to 9 yrs old)
4th Grade: Webelos, (+/- 9 to 10 yrs old)
5th Grade: Arrow of Light Webelos, (+/- 10 to 11 yrs old)
The scouting program offers fun and challenging activities that promote character development, responsibility, respect, reverence and physical fitness.
Parental involvement is Highly encouraged and the activities and lessons learned by the scouts are made that much richer because of the interaction between cubs, parents, leaders and friends.
