Christmas Tree Pickup Fundraiser

Troop 55 will be picking up trees at your curb and recycle it on the weekends after Christmas 2021 for 3 weeks: January 8&9, January 15&16, and Jan 22&23. You will need to sign up for a specific weekend and can do so by emailing Troop55TreePickup@gmail.com . A small donation is appreciated to help keep our activities going. If you choose to donate, we recommend letting us know in your email/phone call on if you want us to come to your door or leave it in an envelope in your mailbox. Some attach it in a ziplock bag to the tree if they will not be home, but don't leave the tree directly in front of your house for security reasons. Thanks for all of the Clinton Community help in keeping our youth active!

Standing up Troop 55G (Girls)

Troop 55 Girls has been stood up as of 9OCT2019 and now we have 9 girls in the Troop and are very active. We are looking for more girls to join this fun! This troop will be a regional Troop with the focus on girls from Madison, Clinton, Westbrook, and Old Saybrook. The meeting times will be same location/time as the Boy Troop. Scout BSA Troop 55B (Boy Scouts) Clinton

CAMPING, FISHING, CANOEING, HIKING, RAPELLING, WHITE WATER RAFTING, SAILING, BOATING, SUMMER CAMP, OUTDOOR COOKING, SURVIVAL, FIRST AID, & MORE!

Troop 55's regular meetings are Thursday nights at 7PM at the United Methodist Church in Clinton at 12 Commerce Street. You do not need to be a member of this church to participate. It is never too late to join the Boy Scouts and no prior Cub Scout experience needed! Join us in having fun at a variety of activities including camping, canoeing, hiking, sailing, boating, white water rafting, archery, shooting sports, and much more. One goal of the Boy Scouts is to get your youth outdoors and being active and physically fit. Thus we are very flexible with other sports your youths participate in.

ANNUAL DUES ARE DUE ON NOV2020

Make checks payable to "Troop 55". The dues are $150 per scout. This covers: national registration fee, CT Rivers Council activity, insurance fees. For the remaining portion that goes to Troop 55, we use that to pay for the Class B Tshirts, Scout Handbooks, tents, camping supplies, and awards like merit badges. Payment Plans can be set up with the Treasurer, no scout will be left behind due to lack of funds.
